Frequently Asked Questions

Welcome to our FAQs

Airdrie Counselling services

Do I need a doctor’s referral to book an appointment?

No referral is necessary. However, some insurance plans may require one for reimbursement, so it’s always a good idea to check with your provider.

What ages do you work with?

Jennifer works with individuals ages 13 and up.

How long are sessions?

Session lengths are 50, 80, or 120 minutes, based on your needs and preferences.

What if I’m not sure where to start or what I need help with?

That’s perfectly okay. Many clients start therapy unsure of exactly what they’re feeling or how to talk about it. The first few sessions are designed to explore what’s going on and build a path forward together.

Do you offer evening or weekend appointments?

Yes, limited evening sessions are available. Please inquire directly for current availability.

Are all services available virtually?

Yes, all services can be accessed virtually or by phone if preferred. In-person sessions are available in Airdrie, Alberta.

What about insurance and direct billing?

Simply Me Psychology offers direct billing for many major insurance providers, including, but not limited to:

Alberta Blue Cross
Manulife
Canada Life
Green Shield
Sun Life

Please check with your provider to confirm coverage and whether a referral is required for psychological services. If direct billing is unavailable for your plan, a receipt will be provided so you can submit for reimbursement.
